The Cloud layout is inspired by ancient Taoist cloud motifs and classical pagoda silhouettes. Featuring an expansive base with drifting cloud wisps and three ascending cumulus peaks, it offers a harmonious, deeply satisfying tile-matching experience.
Like all classic Shanghai puzzles, the objective is to clear all 144 tiles by pairing identical free tiles. A tile is free when it has no tile resting on top and has at least one open lateral edge (left or right).
đ Ascending the Peaks: Strategic Walkthrough
1. Clear the Flanking Outer Wisps
The outermost single-tile wisps at x=0 and x=28 are completely unblocked from the start. Clearing them provides immediate free tiles to match against inner stacks.
2. Balance the Three Peaks
The layout features three distinct peaks: two flanking summits at Layer 2 and a towering central peak rising to Layer 4. Progressively clear all three peaks rather than tunneling into one.
3. Open the Center Bridges
Two horizontal bridges connect the cloud masses at y=3 and y=13. Opening these passageways links the board and prevents isolated clusters.
4. Save Wildcard Flowers and Seasons for Sticky Layers
When down to the final tiers of the central peak, use wildcard Season and Flower tiles to guarantee an unobstructed descent to the finish.
